| FUNDAMENTALS OF LABOR AND MANAGEMENT RELATIONS FOR SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS |
 The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) is running a program designed to build knowledge on the structure of labor and management relations within the framework of international core labor standards and the Philippine Labor Code.
Through a half-day seminar on Sept. 4 at the ECOP Board Room in Makati City, supervisors and managers will be provided a comprehensive overview of the legal structure of labor and management relations both in the international and local landscape towards enhancing workplace relations and maintaining synergy.
The program aims to beef up knowledge and gain competencies, among which are:
* understand international core labor standards and their importance in
the world of business
* familiarization with pertinent Labor Code provisions
* understand and appreciate Labor Standards and Labor Relations Law
Resource person is Mr. Joey R. Molina, consultant, ECOP; Director, Regional Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (RTIPC)-Region 4A; President, Southern Luzon Area Labor Management Association, inc. (STAR-LMCA); Philippine Director, International Center for Collaborative Workplaces; and Past President, Philippine Association of Labor Management Council, Inc. (PALMCO).
